Feyinshop Vendor Charges, Commission & Payout Policy

At Feyinshop, we believe in complete transparency and empowering our vendor community to build profitable businesses. This policy outlines our fee structure, how gross commission and payment gateway processing fees are calculated, how your earnings and shipping reimbursements are credited, and how you can withdraw your funds.

1. Transparency Guarantee: No Hidden Charges

We believe in zero upfront barriers for sellers. You only pay when you make a sale.

• Registration Fee: ₹0 (Free)
• Monthly/Annual Store Subscription: ₹0 (Free)
• Product Listing Fee: ₹0 (Unlimited Free Listings)
• Withdrawal Fee: ₹0 (Free Payouts)

The primary fee associated with selling on Feyinshop is a flat platform commission of 2% (or your store's agreed rate) charged on the gross order value (Product Price + Shipping Fee) of successfully completed orders.

2. Commission, Shipping, Taxes & Earnings Breakdown

Your earnings are calculated and credited automatically to your Vendor Wallet upon order completion. Here is how each component is handled:

The Mathematical Formulas

• Gross Commission Base: Product Subtotal + Shipping Fee
• Platform Commission (2%): Gross Commission Base × 2%
• Payment Gateway Fee: Customer Total × Gateway Rate % (e.g. 2.36% for Razorpay, 1.95% for Cashfree, and 0% for Cash on Delivery / Bank Transfer).
• Vendor Net Wallet Credit: (Product Price + Shipping + GST) − Platform Commission − Payment Gateway Fee

Vendor Shipping & Delivery Management

In your Vendor Dashboard under Shipping Settings, you can control how your orders are fulfilled:

• Self-Fulfilled Shipping (Default - ON): You configure your delivery rules (Flat Rate, Product-Wise, or Regional Rules) and arrange courier delivery. 100% of the shipping fee collected from the customer is credited to your Vendor Wallet to cover your courier expenses.
• Delivery Managed by Admin (OFF): If you cannot manage delivery, you can turn off self-fulfillment. Platform administration will coordinate logistics on your behalf, and shipping fees collected from the customer are retained by the platform to pay the courier partner.

Taxes & GST Compliance

Vendors manage their own tax compliance. To enable taxes, vendors must complete their Business Name and GST Number / Tax ID (GSTIN) in Store Settings. 100% of the GST collected from customers is credited to your Vendor Wallet so you can file your monthly/quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B tax returns.

Real-World Example Calculations

Example 1: Self-Fulfilled Order via Online Gateway (Razorpay 2.36%)

Product: ₹1,000 | Shipping: ₹100 | Customer Pays: ₹1,100

1. Gross Commission Base: ₹1,000 + ₹100 = ₹1,100
2. Platform Commission (2%): ₹1,100 × 2% = ₹22.00
3. Razorpay Processing Fee (2.36%): ₹1,100 × 2.36% = ₹25.96
4. Your Net Wallet Credit: ₹1,100 − ₹22.00 − ₹25.96 = ₹1,052.04

Example 2: Cash on Delivery (COD) Order (0% Gateway Fee)

Product: ₹1,000 | Shipping: ₹100 | Customer Pays: ₹1,100

1. Platform Commission (2% on ₹1,100):₹22.00
2. Gateway Fee (COD):₹0.00
3. Your Net Wallet Credit: ₹1,100 − ₹22.00 = ₹1,078.00

[NOTE] Platform commission is calculated on the gross order value (Product Price + Shipping Fee). When you fulfill your own shipping, 100% of the customer-paid shipping charge is credited to your active wallet balance. If the customer pays through an online gateway, the applicable gateway fee is transparently logged in your revenue statement.

3. How to Withdraw Your Money

Once customer orders are completed and past their return window, the funds become available in your active balance. You can request a payout directly to your bank account at any time.

Step-by-Step Withdrawal Process

1. Log in to your Vendor Dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Withdrawals section on the sidebar.
3. Click on the Create Withdrawal button.
4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
5. Select your preferred payout method (Bank Transfer configured under Settings → Payout Information).
6. Submit the request.

Key Payout Rules

• Minimum Withdrawal Limit: ₹2000 (You must have at least ₹2000 in your active balance to request a withdrawal).
• Platform Withdrawal Fee: ₹0 (There are no processing fees charged by Feyinshop for standard bank transfer withdrawals).

4. Settlement Timeline (3 to 4 Business Days)

After you submit a withdrawal request, our finance team reviews and approves it:

• Processing & Transit Time: Funds typically reflect in your designated bank account within 3 to 4 business days following approval via NEFT/IMPS.
• Bank Holidays & Weekends: Banking settlements do not process on second/fourth Saturdays, Sundays, or RBI national holidays. Requests submitted ahead of holidays may take slightly longer to settle.

5. Ensuring Smooth Payouts

To prevent payout rejections or delays, please ensure your account information is up to date:

1. Verify Bank Details: Ensure your Beneficiary Account Name, Account Number, and Bank IFSC Code match your bank passbook/cheque under Settings → Payout Information.
2. Order Completion: Promptly dispatch orders and mark them as delivered/completed so funds transition to your active balance upon expiration of the customer return period.
3. GST Verification: If you collect GST, ensure your Business Name and GSTIN are verified under Settings → Tax Info to avoid any settlement hold.
